Mission and policy

Mission

The Kröller-Müller Museum offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy world-class art in a tranquil setting, to escape the daily grind and to enrich themselves through new experiences.

Vision

The Kröller-Müller Museum is uniquely situated, surrounded by nature. The phenomenal collection of modern and contemporary art, the architecture and the sculpture garden are internationally renowned. The unique combination of art and nature allows visitors to engage with art in a relaxed and contemplative way. Helene Kröller-Müller deliberately chose this spot in the Veluwe. For her, tranquillity, beauty and spiritual development were paramount. We build on her timeless legacy, in the belief that in our busy, demanding society, art and nature contribute to inspiration, reflection and vitality.
